Malaria, please help!?
Hello everyone, I'm supposed to go to Kenya for six months in September, and recently acquired one week supply of 31 pills to take Lariam for the journey. Since I am a bit of time before I have to do, I decided Research on the net a bit more about drugs, but they have been met hundreds and hundreds of horrible experiences and adverse reactions about drugs. It was really terrifying to drug intake, especially as some side effects were said to be permanent. The other option of malaria drugs has been MALARONE but it is both more expensive (about 10x the price) and also to take every day rather than once per week. I'm interested and I was wondering, does anyone know or have in the past taken anti-malaria drugs? How old were you? For how long? and that there were any side effects? Please help … anyone could provide information would be very much appreciated. I can not stop worrying and I just want to hear the truth ..
