As I said at the end of 2008, swine flu or H1N1 resembles the structure of the Spanish flu of 1918-19 that killed million, when the population was much smaller. And this version has the potential to cause a decrease effectively "double" in the global economy. It is this strong with this much potential. And now we have a United Nations report that looks very serious.

The swine flu outbreak could kill millions and cause anarchy in the poorest nations of the world, says a UN report. The disclosure will cause the fear that health authorities will not able to stem the growth of the pandemic of H1N1 around the world in developing countries. If the virus becomes established in the poorest nations, millions people could die and fragile economies are likely to be destroyed.

Millions of people could die here in America too.

Gregory Hartl WHO, the report calls for urgent action from rich nations. "We must recognize that the world is affected by the pandemic and the chain is as strong as its weakest link. We have seen how H1N1 has thrived in the rich countries and the hemisphere south. We were given fair warning and must act quickly, "he said.

The report was written by UN officials during the last two months. He was commissioned in July after Ban Ki-moon, UN secretary general expressed the fear that the virus could H1NI have a serious impact on the poorest countries in the world. It provides a disaster for those most vulnerable in the world, unless there is immediate help.

UN request for money comes as the virus begins to take root in some of the most vulnerable the world. Health officials said that Africa had recorded 8187 confirmed cases of swine flu and 41 deaths. Swine influenza has been declared a pandemic in June and has since been identified in 180 countries.

Pandemic experts believe that the Western world, including Great Britain, faces a second wave of virus.

The "Spanish" influenza pandemic of 1918-1919, which caused 50 million deaths around the world, remains an ominous warning to public health.
