What precautions have your community taken since the swine flu?
I live in south alabama and I saw on the local news that mobile has been watching those who depart the cruise ship that had cruises to mexico and anyone sneezing or coughing was whisked away to have tests run at a undisclosed location. Currently the ship has canceled all future cruises to mexico until further notice.
Should we be worried? Regular flu has accounted for more deaths so far but no special precautions have been taken for it.
Is there something more to this that we don’t know about?
I live in the same area as you. I’ve noticed them watching the cruise ship and stocking up on medical supplies. I heard they were expecting New Orleans to be a hot spot with so many immigrants passing through it, hasn’t happened yet.
